Hi, I’ve signed up at Alipay and my account seems properly verified.
But I can’t seem to make any payment with my Visa credit card. I have linked it to my Alipay account and it even deduced a small amount from my bank account (probably to verify my card?). But when I scan an Alipay QR code for payment, I only get the option to “Pay with a new card”. When I enter my Visa card, I keep getting the error “Linking of this card is temporary unavailable. Please try another bank card.”.
Are there certain foreign Visa cards that Alipay don’t accept?
